FIBER OPTIC HARDWARE

Bulk Fiber Optic Cable (Distribution Style)
Designed for backbone inter/intrabuilding applications.

PATCH PANELS

Fiber interconnect panels (patch panels) are required wherever multiple fiber cables are terminated for interconnection to active equipment or for patching from vertical to horizontal runs. The "technical side" of the panels have facilities for securing the cable, storing fiber slack and arranging and identifying the terminated fibers. The "user. s side" of the panelshave similar features for the management of optical patch cords. Rack mount panels allow better cable management and closer positioning of active equipment to the panel than wall mount panels. Wall mounting is usually chosen when there is limited rack space or very low fiber count.

PATCH CORDS

Modular Six-Pack and Eight-Pack fiber optic cabinets allow preloaded ST, FC/PC and SC adapter panels to be snapped into the cabinet for an efficient, cost-effective and flexible installation. When increased system capacity and expansion is required, additional adapter panels may be added to
